After losing Hunter Henry to the Patriots in Free Agency, the Chargers gave Jared Cook a 1-year, $6 million deal.
Cook has posted three-straight TE1 seasons, two with the Saints and one with Oakland.
In his two season in New Orleans, the former third-round pick caught 80 passes for 1,209 yards and 16 touchdowns.
Cook is a four-time top 12 tight end, adding a TE11 finish is 2013 with the Rams.
Henry’s voided 93 targets will likely be split between Cook and former-XFL star Donald Parham.
Parham had 10 catches, 159 yards and three scores on 20 targets last year.
