After a season and a half in the desert in Phoenix, Kenyan Drake is head to Las Vegas to sign a two-year, up to $14.5 million deal with the Raiders.

Long a backup running back, Drake will return to that role backing up Josh Jacobs.

Drake started 21 of his 23 games for the Cardinals, rushing for 1,598 yards and 18 touchdowns. He also caught 53 passes for 308 yards.

Drake is coming off an RB15 season a year ago.

He will slot into Devontae Booker’s role from a year ago. In 16 games, Booker rushed for 423 yards and three scores, catching 17 passes for 84 yards. Booker played 22% of the offensive snaps for the Raiders last year.

For now, Chase Edmonds sits atop the depth chart at running back for the Cardinals.
