Only two more weeks! Can you believe it? The NFL season is coming to a head and we are very close to finishing the year with an overall positive record? Can we keep the momentum going? Let’s find out!

Week 16 Recap

Arizona Cardinals (-1, -110) vs Indianapolis Colts, Colts win 22-16.

The Cardinals had every opportunity to win this game, but ultimately the Colts stay red hot and win a pivotal game.

New York Jets (pk, -110 vs the Jacksonville Jaguars, Jets win 26-21

To say this one sweated out is an understatement. Trevor Lawerence screwed up on the goal line and the Jets squeak out a victory.

Houston Texans (+10, -110) vs the Los Angeles Chargers, Texans win 41-29

Well, I definitely did not see the end result here. The Texans beat the Chargers who now find themselves sitting outside of the playoff outlook. Ugly loss for LA, big win for Davis Mills.

Lock of the Week

Miami Dolphins (-1.5, -115) at the New Orleans Saints, Dolphins win 20-3

You know the saying, “It’s better to be lucky than good?” We definitely got lucky with Ian Book starting at QB for the Saints. The Dolphins roll and continue their winning streak and add another win to my lock of the Week record.

Weekly Record: 3-1-0

Overall Record: 33-31-0

Lock of the Week Record: 8-8-0

Week 17 Card

Detroit Lions (+7, -115) at the Seattle Seahawks

Both teams are pretty bad. But, Dan Campbell has the Lions believing. The Lions continue to play opponents tough and will keep this game close.

Houston Texans (+12, -110) at the San Francisco 49ers

Tim, the Lions, and the Texans??? Do you want to finish above .500? The Texans are another pesky team that has nothing to play for except pride. Twelve is too many points in this game. Additionally, with Jimmy G potentially out, who knows what Trey Lance will look like.

Miami Dolphins (+3.5, -110) at the Tennessee Titans

Road dogs are becoming a theme for this week. Both teams are coming in hot but the Dolphins defense has been rolling and will look to shut down Ryan Tannehill and the Titans’ offense. The Dolphins will keep it close and possibly win.

Lock of the Week

Pittsburgh Steelers (+3.5, -105) vs the Cleveland Browns

Cleveland’s season was effectively ended last week and won’t have much to play for. On the other hand, This could potentially be Big Ben’s last game in a Steelers uniform. Pittsburgh will do anything to stay alive in the playoff race and send Ben on his way with a victory.

Best of luck!

-Tim
