(Overall Record: 2-6-0; Last Week: 1-3-0)
Last week was, how can I put this, a roller coaster of emotions. The witching hour definitely did your boy in. The Ravens, up 21 points in the fourth quarter, ended up losing. The Saints, who have had Tom Brady’s number in Tampa Bay, could not capitalize on a sub-par Brady performance. And the Rams….The Rams just seemed like a team that did not want to win their game, and that led the game to going over, when an under looked good for so long. Gambling is definitely not for the faint of heart.
But, we did win one! Thank goodness for the Detroit Lions and Washington Commanders. Dan Campbell got his team a victory and the teams combined for enough points to cover the Over 48.5 points.
Ultimately, I know I have to be better. But, there will always be surprises each week. Did anyone have the Jets coming back to win last week? How about Cooper Rush not only covering the spread, but winning outright for Dallas? Everyone knew the Colts record in Jacksonville recently, but did anyone see a 24-0 game happening? I don’t think so!
Gambling is definitely for entertainment purposes, and as long as you’re doing it responsibly, you’re doing it correctly!
That being said, let’s responsibly win some money this week!

Favorite: Buffalo Bills (-5) over Miami Dolphins
Burn me once, shame on you. Burn me twice, shame on me. Third time is a charm though, right? I am going back to the well and still will continue picking against the Miami Dolphins. This time I feel the Bills are just too powerful of an offense for the Miami Dolphins. The Bills defense has done nothing but shut down teams to start the season, and if McVay and Vrabel can’t figure it out, I am not too keen on a rookie head coach figuring it out. Give me the powerful Bills.
Underdog: Washington Commanders (+6.5) vs the Philadelphia Eagles
Hear me out, everyone is a little too high on the Philadelphia Eagles. They won a shootout in Detroit to start the season, and then played prime time Kirk Cousins. I think this is an over-reaction to those two games and Commanders are more than capable of staying in this game. Washington keeps it close in this one.
Over: Rams/Cardinals over 48.5
Both teams are capable of putting up big points, while also both defenses have not shown the capability of stopping high power offenses. Both teams are looking to build off a week 2 victory and will look to keep their offense prowess rolling. Get ready to see some points in the desert!
Under: Ravens/Patriots under 44
Ravens coming off a stunner in Miami, while the Patriots pulled out a victory in Pittsburgh. New England returns home and will look to control the pace of the game and slow down Lamar Jackson’s offense. Patriots looking to show they are still very capable of winning the big team in the AFC, especially for their home opener of 2022. Look for a slow-paced, run-dominated game. Give me the under.
Best of luck in week 3!
