We have approached what used to be the penultimate week of the season, but with the addition of Week 18, we still have three more weeks to win some money.
Covid has wreaked havoc on the sports world. The NHL is paused, the NBA is postponing games and the NFL has moved multiple games last week (and maybe more on the horizon).
With this massive uncertainty, always stay within your limit and be aware of ever-changing lines. With that, let’s get to this Holiday Weekends games.
Week 15 Recap
Cleveland Browns (+1.5, -115) vs the Las Vegas Raiders (Saturday), Raiders win 16-14
In a game that got moved to Tuesday, the Browns ruined my perfect week. But it’s hard to blame them when Nick Mullens is starting. The Browns gave their best effort but fell a half-point away from covering.
Philadelphia Eagles (-7, -110) vs the Washington Football Team, Eagles win 27-17
Jalen Hurts baby. Coming off the injured list, the Eagles handled Garret Gilbert and the WFT. We’ll take them any way we can.
Indianapolis Colts (-2.5, -110) vs the New England Patriots, Colts win 27-17
Like I said last week, this line was fishy, so I had to take it. Colts end the Patriots’ winning streak and look like a team that could cause some trouble if they make the playoffs.
Lock of the Week
Buffalo Bills (-11, -110) vs the Carolina Panthers, Bills win 31-14
Bills good, Panthers bad. End of story
Weekly Record: 3-1-0
Overall record: 30-30-0
Lock of the weeks: 7-8-0
Week 16 Card
Arizona Cardinals (-1, -110) vs Indianapolis Colts
Fishy line. The Colts are hot, and the Cardinals lost to the Lions. The NFL has a way of humbling teams. Cardinals need a win, hungry dog runs faster
New York Jets (pk, -110 vs the Jacksonville Jaguars
This is how bad the Jaguars are. It was not Urban’s fault, but he definitely did not help. The Jets will be without their head coach but teams have found a way to rally around their interim coaches. Give me the Jets in an ugly game.
Houston Texans (+10, -110) vs the Los Angeles Chargers
LA is dealing with a covid outbreak and could be without Austin Ekeler, while the Texans had a huge game last week with Davis Mills at the helm and should be able to keep this game close. Give me all of the points.
Lock of the Week
Miami Dolphins (-1.5, -115) at the New Orleans Saints
The Saints are starting…Ian Book??? The Dolphins have been red hot and look to continue their winning ways against a very depleted New Orleans team.
Hope everyone has a safe and enjoyable holiday!
