After starting just 10 games for four teams in seven seasons, Mike Davis finally had his breakout season at age 27 with the Carolina Panthers.
Davis was rewarded Tuesday morning with a two-year deal from the Falcons.
Davis started in 12 games for the injured Christian McCaffrey, rushing for 642 yards and six touchdowns. He also caught 59 passes for 373 yards and two scores.
Davis finished the season as RB11, four times scoring over 20 fantasy points.
Todd Gurley will likely retain the starting spot in Atlanta, but Davis has a good shot at competing for carries.
